Countdown or stopwatch timing
The page has two modes, which you switch with the buttons at the top: the timer, which counts down from a time you set, and the stopwatch, which counts up from zero.
Everything runs in your browser. The times you type are not sent to any server or saved on the device, and the page asks for no permission. If you reload or close the tab, a countdown in progress is lost. The page shows ads; more details in the Privacy Policy.
Yes. When it reaches zero, it plays three short beeps generated by the browser and shows the message "Time is up!". If the volume is low or the tab is in the background, the sound may go unnoticed; that is why the alert window still exists.
It should not. The time is calculated from the difference between the start time and the device's current time. The screen may only take a moment to update when you return to the tab.
The fields are limited to 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds. For longer periods, a calendar or an alarm is more suitable.
Yes. When you pause, the current value stays on the display and "Start" resumes from where it stopped. Only "Reset" or switching modes clears it.
No, only hours, minutes and seconds, with no lap recording.
Once the page has loaded, the counting is done locally, but you need to be online to open the page itself.
