This editor lets you design the label by dragging elements onto an editing area and, at the end, generates the matching command code (PP, FT, PT, PB, BARSET, PF). Instead of working out coordinates by hand, you place everything with the mouse and copy the result.
Variable elements are for fields that change on every label, such as batch, date or product name. You set the field name in the layout and fill in the values in the test JSON.
The editor runs in your browser: the design, the generated code and the variable JSONs are not sent to any server. The project you are editing is saved automatically in the browser's local storage (localStorage) so you do not lose your work when you reload the page; clearing the site data deletes that draft. General details about the site are in the Privacy Policy.
No. The editor opens straight in the browser and does not ask for sign-up.
The editor keeps an automatic copy in the browser, so it usually reappears when you reopen it in the same browser. That does not apply if you cleared the site data or used a private window. To be safe, use "Export" and keep the file.
Yes, with the "Load" button: paste the code and, if it uses variables, the JSON with the values. The editor recognizes the commands it can generate itself, such as position, font, text, barcode and line; commands outside that set may not show up in the design.
The generator produces Code 39 for barcodes and QR Code. Other formats are not generated by this editor.
Not necessarily. It is command code for one specific kind of label language, and each printer has its own. Check your equipment's documentation and test the printout before using it in production.
